The Office Manager will facilitate communication with patients, all clinic staff, referral sources, insurance companies, and all corporate departments.
The Office Manager offers the highest level of customer service to ensure that patients receive the utmost care, and consideration and is an integral part of the clinic's success.
Hours:
Monday - Friday Essential Functions and Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies Leads people, coordinates and inspires the team and achieves results under challenging circumstances Maintain a quality culture in the workplace, providing feedback to staff and adherence to procedural standards and performance Monitors the number of patients and wait times to ensure proper flow of patients from check-in through appointment check- out Ensure patient satisfaction, including regulating when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent repetitions Monitor's office communication and performance to ensure that medical receptionist and medical assistants operate in an efficient, accurate and customer-focused manner Support development, implementation, and preservation of policies and procedures Ensure patient satisfaction, including regulating when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent repetitions.

Ensures cop-pays are compliantly collected and cash is reconciled and prepared for deposit.
Make the initial effort to resolve issues and/or errors in a timely fashion.
Covering for other Authorization coordinator when off or if help is needed.
Obtain Authorizations for all surgeries, Diagnostic studies & Specialty Drugs.
Ability to interpret insurance benefits and apply them to patient services.
Providing clear and concise communication to the insurance company when getting authorizations as well as descriptive communication entered clearly into our EMR system within a patient's chart when a precertification/prior authorization is required by the patient's insurance plan.
Coordinate information from the providers (when necessary), surgical staff, Physician's office, etc.
, as needed to complete the Authorization process.
Meet with staff on a regular basis to review departmental progress and create positive teamwork between clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
Maintain friendly and cordial relations with all patients, insurance representatives and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with patients, co-workers and managers All other duties assigned and modified at manager's discretion.
