com), a division of the Darren Findling Law Firm, PLC, is a growing probate, estate planning, and elder law firm with offices in Michigan, Illinois, Florida, and Ohio.
The Probate Pro seeks a settlement coordinator for its Royal Oak, MI office.
Responsibilities:
Delegation and supervision of settlement approval and distribution within our office Draft/supervise all necessary settlement pleadings and paperwork Audit/review all files upon receipt of settlement proceeds.
Determine strategies for distribution and closing.
Direct communication with attorneys and support staff Court appearances in the Metro Detroit area and Statewide Coordination between Personal Injury Attorneys and our office Manage all aspects of completing personal injury settlement, including circuit court and probate court requirements Exceed expectations of outside attorneys and return all calls within one (1) business day Requirements:
Michigan bar license and 2 plus years of relevant experience Experience with Probate Estate administration Experience with personal injury settlements Familiar with the Michigan Wrongful Death Act.
Ability to delegate and manage multiple project concurrently Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through Adapts well to change and maintains a positive attitude Ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important and urgent issues Thrives in a fast-paced environment Perks of the Job:
