Quality Engineering Manager (AUTOMOTIVE/WELDING)

REQUIREMENTS:
o Must have Bachelors Degree in Quality Engineering Technology or related discipline such as Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and work experience as established by a recognized credentials evaluation company).
o Must have 5 years of experience in position offered OR 5 years exp. as a Quality Manager; AND Possess thorough knowledge of welding fundamentals and weld theory for resistance, and fusion welding; Thorough knowledge of the following types of tooling - Line dies, Progressive Dies, Deep Draw Dies, Pierce Dies.
o Experience in supplying Rear Floor and Ladder Welded Assemblies, which include multiple separate components welded together with over multiple welds per assembly relative to the automotive industry.
o Experience with transforming Automotive OEM Suppliers with poor Quality performance to Award Winning Suppliers; Experience with manpower reductions to optimize efficiency of Quality Department Staff
o Experience with implementing Panametrics Ultrasonic Weld Inspection Measuring Device (RSWA)
o Experience in weld inspection measurement techniques such as Paxit measuring systems analysis
o Experience implementing Datamyte statistical data acquisition system
o Experience in operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine
o Experience with Customer contact pertaining to all Quality customer concerns
o Management Representative experience with ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and Lead Auditor training certification. Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and Lead Auditor training certification.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
