Summary:
The Clinical Nurse utilizes the nursing process with depth and understanding. Develops and implements plan of care for patient's based on scientific research rationale. Communicates patient outcomes & changes to multidisciplinary team members. Delegates assignments/tasks with appropriate follow-up. Contributes to achievement of unit objectives. Develops teaching strategies for patient/family. Serves as mentor/resource for members of health care team. Maintains current knowledge in area of clinical practice. This position will float to all progressive care units through the Nursing Resource Team/Pool.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current MI RN license, 2 years recent RN experience in progressive care nursing, AHA BLS, ACLS. Flexibility in scheduling and assignments and excellent IPR skills. Prefer BSN.
