Clinical Nurse II
Job Details:
The Clinical Nurse utilizes the nursing process with depth and understanding. Develops and implements plan of care for patients based on scientific research rationale. Communicates patient outcomes & changes to multidisciplinary team members. Delegates assignments/tasks with appropriate follow-up. Contributes to achievement of unit objectives. Develops teaching strategies for patient/family. Serves as mentor/resource for members of health care team. Maintains current knowledge in area of clinical practice.
Required:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Current Michigan registered nurse license
A minimum of 2 years critical care experience with relevant skill sets i.e ventilator, arterial lines and medication management of hemodynamics
Current BLS certification (Healthcare Provider American Heart Association)
ACLS/PALS certification (as appropriate to the patient population served) within 6 months of hire
Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills
Preferred:
Current, comparable Pre-Op, PACU Phase I and PACU Phase II experience as a registered nurse with documented critical care experience as a registered nurse
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS/PALS (as appropriate to the patient population served) upon hire
NN7 pay grade non exempt status
